Our Backyard Adventure

Hi everyone, McKenna here! Yes, that's right, I am the oldest sister in our family!  I am also the reporter of the family. So, today, as well as our usual Saturday games, hosted by ME, I suggested we explore Brooke's backyard. So, I took the liberty of being the reporter and photographer of our adventure.

My AG Wishlist

Hi everyone! I am planning on going to the AG store soon, so I put together a wishlist. I limited myself to $150 (I went over that :)) So here it is!

1. Saige's Sweater Outfit

I LOVE this outfit, and I want to get it as soon as possible!

2. Volleyball Set

This is so adorable, and since Peyton plays volleyball, I have a good reason to get it!

 3. Comfy and Cozy Pet Bed

This is so adorable, and I have Honey and a Nintendogs Dog, Chase. They really need a bed!

 

 

4. Garden Boots

These are adorable in every way, and I love the design!

5. Guitar Set

I think this is so cute, and my dolls all suddenly want to learn how to play!

6. Sporty Winter Outfit

I love everything in this set, all the way from the headband to the boots!

Well, if you were to add this all together, it brings up a total of $174. $24 over my budget, but I have a lot of gift cards and money from Christmas.  I can't wait to go!

My Doll School

One of my favorite things to do with my dolls is play school. I teach McKenna and Julie, who are in fourth grade. My doll school is under my desk, but I love it anyway!

Here is an overview so you can see that it is under my desk.

This is one of my most favorite thing in the little school! When I was in fourth grade (that was my favorite year!) my teacher had one of these, except bigger, of course. Each color means something different, as you can see. When we were being good, she would say, "Move your clip up," and we would move it to the next color. Our goal was to get to purple, outstanding by the end of the day. This brings back happy memories!

These are also from fourth grade. We would get to "apply" for what classroom job we wanted.

McKenna's table is table 1, Julie's is table 2.

Lunch stars are what we do at my school. If we are quiet at the end of lunch, we get a star. By the end of the month, if we have 10, we get a longer recess. So far this class is off to a good start!

Doll Accessory Organization Ideas!

Hey everyone! I don't know about you, but I have ALOT of little doll things that I am afraid to lose. I used to throw everything in the lid of an AG wheel chair box. It was like a little storage tray. Just yesterday, I decided that wasn't the smartest idea, because I was losing a lot of hair accessories, etc.. Then, I saw that I had a couple empty boxes from AG that were left over from Christmas. I cut the lids of, put in accessories, and labeled them! I am really happy with how they turned out!

This is the top part of a mini doll box, and I keep lots of mini doll-sized things in here!

This is an old girl of the year box that I use to put hair stuff in.

In this box I keep  purses, earrings, and glasses.

This is the only box that still has its lid. My dolls took down their Christmas decorations yesterday, and I keep them here.

This is what the overview looks like. I put them on my dolls' wardrobe, along with other, bigger, accessories.

Welcome Saige - Girl of the Year 2013

Hi everyone, and happy new year! I am so excited about Saige, the new GOTY! I think she is sooo pretty, and I like most of her things.

1. Starting with Saige, herself. She is so pretty, and I love her long, red hair. She would be a great addition to my doll collection, as I do not have any red headed dolls. I know what you all are thinking, though. I would agree that she looks almost exactly like Nicki, and closely resembles Felicity. However, that doesn't really create a problem for me, since I don't have either doll. Also, did any of you noticed her pierced ears?!?! I am super excited about that!I  think she is so pretty!!! (I also LOVE her meet outfit!)

2. Saige's Sweater Outfit is SOOOOOOO adorable!!! I am going to buy this ASAP!!! I love the design on the sweater, and the leggings and sandals make it even cuter! This is BY FAR my most favorite AG outfit ever!!!!!!

3. Saige's Pajamas: Hmmmmmmmm.......... These are kind of strange. The design is weird, and I don't really like the gray and pinkish - orange colors together.They are kind of cute, but I will not be buying them.

4. Saige's Parade Outfit: While this is very cute, I will probably not be buying this, because I already have a horse riding outfit.

5. Saige's Sparkle Dress is very cute, and I love the pink and gold together, and it looks especially cute on Saige! I love the boots, too!

6. Saige's Horse and Saddle set: I'm not a huge fan of the horse being so speckled, but I still won't get either part of the set because I already have a horse and saddle.

7. Saige's Accessories are very cute! I love the pattern of the bag, and the earrings are really pretty, too!

8. Saige's dog is very cute!!! I love border collies, and he is an especially cute one. If I did get him though, I would change his name. Rembrandt doesn't seem very doggish to me;)

9. Saige's Hot Air Balloon: While this is very cute, I will not be buying it, because I can't really think of a good use for it.

10. Saige's Painting Set: I love this! It is so cute, and I am once again blown away by American Girl's attention to detail!

Overall, I love Saige and her stuff. I think AG did a great job this year. What do you think of Saige?

My Dolls

I have 3 American Girl dolls; McKenna, Julie (origanally Chrissa), and Olivia. I have one Our Generation doll, Peyton.

1. Julie was my first ever doll. She was the Girl of the Year 2009, and I love her so  much! She is the second oldest after McKenna.

2. Peyton was my second doll. She is an Our Generation doll from Target, and I love her, except for her hair. It got matted within a month, but she is still a pretty good doll!

3. Olivia was my third doll. I got her Christmas 2011, and she is My AG number 57. She looks exactly like me, except for her hair, because mine is a lot longer. She is the baby sister of the family.

Dream job: Veterenarian

Favorite Subject: Recess

4. McKenna is my most recent doll, but the oldest. Since she is a GOTY, she is in 4th grade. So is Julie, but Julie was born in December and McKenna was born in July. So they're really only 6 or 7 months apart.

Dream Job: Olympic gold medalist, Doctor
