Hey guys! Today I am going to show you how to do a dutch braid. It's really simple, and if you know how to do a french braid, this will be super easy for you!
Start off by brushing your dolls hair to get rid of any tangles. |
Take a small piece of hair from each side of your doll's hair. |
Bring it down and divide it into three sections. |
Here is the one part that makes this different from a french braid. Instead of bringing the right piece over the middle piece, you are going to do the opposite. Bring the middle piece over the right piece. |
Then, finish one stitch of a braid. |
Then, grab a section of hair to the right of the right section of hair. Add it in, and continue braiding. |
Do the same for the left side, and keep repeating this until you run out of hair. |
When you run out of hair, braid the three sections together and tie it off with a hair tie! |
Here is the finished product! But how is this different from the french braid? The french braid weaves into your doll's hair, but a dutch braid pops out. |
I hope you guys liked this tutorial, and let me know if you try it!
Too cute!
