Twinkies Are Back!!!

Hey girls its Julie here, with some awesome news! About a week ago, the company Hostess came back! And you know what that means...... Twinkies are back!!! We missed them so much, so we just had to go to
 the store and get some!

 Want to make some for your dolls? Just follow these simple instructions:

All you need is a golden-yellow color of felt, some stuffing, and a little bit of sewing skills.

Cut out a square or rectangle of felt, and place the stuffing in the middle for size.

Cut the square/rectangle exactly in half.

Thread a needle, and sew the pieces together using the crossover stitch. Be sure to keep one of the smaller ends open.

When you are done sewing, turn it inside out. Then, stuff it full with stuffing!

Sew the open end closed, and....

You're done! Now, to enjoy my delicious twinkie!

Hey, Olivia, what are you doing?!?! And where's my twinkie?!

*Burrrp *Oh, right, hehe, where did that go? Uhh, twinkies rule!

Uggh, oh well, I'm off to go make another twinkie. Peace out, peoples.

My Opinion On the Saige Movie

Hey everyone! As you know, the premiere of Saige's movie, Saige Paints the Sky, was on tv Saturday night! Today, I will be giving you all my opinions on the movie.

My overall grade for this movie is a  B.

Here's why:

Storyline: I was really disappointed with Gabi's character. They completely changed her!!! I was super excited to see her train Saige's dog, and train Picasso to paint! But, they changed her. She was a fashion designer who drew anime cartoons for fun. That was super disappointing.

Acting: I feel like in some parts, the acting was SUPER cheesy. Like, for me,especially in the beginning when Saige is getting ready for school. And, some parts Saige had some major attitude problems, unrealistic, even.

 

 

 

 

But, while it was a very cute, fun  movie, I wish they had stuck to the story line more. I feel like AG NAILED that in the McKenna movie, but that is just me.

My Favorites of The New AG Items

Hi everyone! Recently, American Girl came out with a whole new set of items! Today, I will be talking about my favorites.

First of all, the new dolls!

 

I have been wanting a doll like this to come out for ever! She is so pretty!

 

 This doll is so cute and unique!

Now, onto the new clothing items!

 This is soooo cute! I love the mixture of the skirt and sweater together!

This is ADORABLE! I am serious, this is my new favorite AG outfit!

This whole set is so cute! It makes playing with your pet so much more fun!

This is very cute, I love the colors!

Yayy! I was so sad when AG got rid of the old basketball outfit, but I love this one even more! And, since Olivia is a basketball player, I will probably be buying this.

This is so cute! I could see McKenna in this :)

And last but not least,furniture and accessories.

 This is so cute! And, with everything it comes with for only $150, (ha, isn't it sad how nowadays, in the AG world, that's a steal?!?!) I might consider it!

This is adorable! It's much better than mine right now, its made of a shoe box!

This is so amazing! Teaching doll school would be way more fun with this set!

This is such a good idea! I wish they made these in real life.

This is the coolest idea EVER! And its only $12!!! I am sooo getting this soon!

French Braid Pull Back:Tutorial

 Here is the tutorial of the french braid pull back I talked about yesterday!

What You will need:

A doll with medium to long hair

Two hair ties and either a hair tie with a bow on it or a separate bow

And a hair brush.

Step 1: After brushing your doll's hair to get it free of any tangles, divide it into two sections and tie off one section, using an elastic.

Step 2: Take a smaller section out of that section. Divide it into three, and begin to french braid down the side.

Step 3: Finish the braid by tying it off with an elastic.

 Step 4:  Repeat steps two and three on the other side of your doll's hair.

Step 5: Take both french braids and pull them together at the back of her head.

Step 6: Tie them together with another hair tie, and add a hair bow if you like.

Step 7: Take out the original hair ties, and you're done!

Welcome Alyssa!

Hi everyone! As you all know, I recently got number 55, who I named Alyssa. Unfortunately, though, I have been super busy the past two weeks, and I am just now getting the chance to take and post these pictures of her! To view her profile, go to the top tab that says "About Us". I also got a new camera, and I love it sooo much! The pictures are way better quality and it focuses really well!

Here she is! Her full name is Alyssa Nicole Montiel.

I am so proud of my camera for focusing  on her eyes and freckles so well!

And, from the back, her lovely, wavy hair! It is in a french braid pull back, I will do a tutorial soon!

That is my new doll! I love her so much, she is sooo amazing! For any of you who are considering getting her, GO FOR IT! She is a beautiful, one of a kind doll, and is definitely worth the money!
